Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha (Happy Eid Ul-Adha)

To my peeps, near and far, Happy Eid! It's a public holiday in Malaysia today, but many have taken long leave till Christmas, some till after the new year. I'll be around till tomorrow, then we birds will fly north to Penang. I missed my dear cousin's wedding last weekend, and her reception's due this coming Saturday there. Hopefully I'll get to post photos of the reception here.

Selamat Pengantin Baru*, Erin

Mom and dad are around for the holiday, and like I said we, the members of The School of Birds will be flying to Penang together tomorrow. While mom's here we'll be eating good food, yay!

* A greeting in Malay, wished to newlyweds.

What a beautiful bride she is. Gorgeous girl!! She has amazing eyes.

I hope you have a fantastic time in Penang and that you enjoy your time with your Mom and all of her delicious foods. I envy you all the taste treats you will be enjoying. I wish you could email me some of the leftovers. ;-)

Thanks, Weasel! I hope we get to have some fun, coz I actually have to be around the bride just to "be there" (my aunt's interpretation of support system, I suppose). I actually look forward to spending some time with my cousin because she was away in Dublin studying for a looong time and now practising in one of the hospitals in Penang, so eventhough she's in the country we don't get to hang out much. Emailing leftovers wouldn't do justice for you, girl, come fly first class and have the food fresh!

Hi Elisabeth, was surprised to find your comment coz I thought you'd already be away until I remembered England's about 8 hours behind us here... So I rushed to your blog first hehe.

I'll be sure to pass on the good words. You both are sweetums...
